WELL SUITED - Ge Wang, tailor to the stars

When Ge Wang began work as a real estate lawyer in 2012, he noticed a trend in the field: poorly tailored suits. "The custom options I was seeing were overhyped," says the 30-year-old Glen Ellyn native. "So I started making my own." Within a year, he launched ESQ Clothing, a West Loop custom clothier that's dressed Matt Forte, Martellus Bennett, and Fall Out Boy. Though Wang specializes in hard-to-fit forms - see the size 16 loafers he made for Ravens first-rounder Ronnie Stanley - it's his knack for subtle embellishments that makes an ESQ suit pop. That same flair for flash permeates the Lakeshore East condo he shares with his girlfriend, Alex, and Rottweiler, Bane.
